Arranging A funeral

Our experienced team is on hand to listen to your wishes, and professionally guide you every step of the way.

 

Should you wish to visit your loved one in our private chapel of rest, we would highly recommend your loved one is embalmed, if you are unfamiliar with this process and would like further explanation please speak to a member of the team. You may like to bring clothes for your loved one to be dressed in, alternatively we can provide a suitable white gown.

You may also wish to leave some personal items with your loved one, please be aware there are restrictions with particular items for cremation, please ask a member of the team for further information.

Cremations

If there is a particular date/time that you would like the service to take place, or any dates you need to avoid


Whether you would like a service in a church or crematorium chapel and your venue/s of choice


If you have considered your options for the cremated remains after the service, and if you have any specific requests.

Burials

If you are looking for a new plot you may need to provide proof of residency. You may also need to consider the types of memorials permitted within the particular cemetery/area you are considering.

 

Should you have an existing grave, the owner/s, unless the deceased owned the grave, will need to authorise any interment to take place, and will be required to sign all necessary cemetery paperwork. Proof of ownership (grave deed) if requested/available. Removal and storage of any existing memorial currently on the grave.

 

Possible restrictions on the types of subsequent interments.

 

Whether you would like a coffin or casket for your loved one, and the subsequent cemetery restrictions/cost implications.
