D.A. Lindsay & Sons proudly places the Croydon community at the center of everything it does, from offering affordable, first-class funeral services to actively supporting local charities throughout the year. Each December, we hold a special annual memorial service open to all beliefs and denominations. This gathering serves as a comforting space for individuals to reflect on their grief, particularly during what can be a challenging time of year. Each year, a different charity—often with a strong local connection—is chosen for support. Past beneficiaries have included local food banks, hospital chaplaincies, and brain tumor charities. These memorial services provide a unique opportunity for the community to come together, offering solace and unity for those who have experienced loss.
Community Support Service
In 2022, D.A. Lindsay & Sons organized a meaningful fundraising event for the Chaplaincy Department at Croydon University Hospital, raising over £5,400 with the incredible support of the local community. Held at Our Lady of the Annunciation in Addiscombe, the funds were dedicated to creating a beautiful crocus garden in the hospital grounds, offering a peaceful space for families who have experienced the loss of a child. Driven by a deep commitment to supporting local charities, D.A. Lindsay & Sons looks forward to organizing future charity events to continue serving the Croydon community.
